Rigorous and independent verification of project costs, contract terms, and construction progress, including: 

  • Pre-Funding Report – The initial Quantity Surveyor report provides comprehensive budget verification, contingency analysis, and a review of building contracts to confirm that the Contract Sum is adequate.
  • Drawdown Reporting – During construction, monthly site inspections are undertaken to verify that the completed work aligns with the funds being claimed, preventing front-loading by contractors.
  • Cost-to-Complete Reporting – This ongoing assessment compares remaining funds with remaining works to ensure the project remains in balance. It also identifies latent risks, such as cost escalation, lead-time delays, or subcontractor insolvency, before they affect the loan.
